Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, dispensing prescriptions, giving medicines advice, and ensuring safe sale of medicines.

You will greet customers, build relationships, and help manage repeats to promote adherence and reduce waste. A NVQ2 or current MPharm progress is expected, with UK right to work confirmed.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or equivalent is required or you are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role does not offer sponsorship.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist as needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with new pharmacy service innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and adherence with reliable repeats.
