Job summary

Boots is looking for a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, providing patient advice, and ensuring safe medicine delivery within the store’s healthcare department.

Role is based in the UK, with no remote applications accepted. NVQ2 in Pharmacy or current progress towards MPharm is expected, along with valid UK right-to-work status. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Pharmacy or equivalent is required or in progress.
• Current UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and adherence to medication to reduce waste.
