Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Dispenser to join its in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will dispense prescriptions, advise patients, and support the pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence support, and collaboration with healthcare professionals within the store setting. UK right to work is required, with DBS/PVG checks as applicable.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) or currently working towards and completed first year of MPharm.
• UK right to work in the role; sponsorship not available for visa routes.
• Experience in community/pharmacy environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Assist pharmacist and healthcare team in delivering pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients regarding medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay up-to-date with new store technologies and SOPs to enhance patient safety.
• Assist patients with repeats and medication management to promote adherence.
