Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. You will dispense prescriptions, support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, and help ensure safe and compliant pharmacy services.

You will greet patients, provide medicines guidance and manage repeats with a focus on adherence and cost-effectiveness. The role offers development paths, including training as a Pharmacy Technician, and requires UK right-to-work.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing with safe supply of medicines including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and compliant operational processes.
