Job summary

Boots UK is looking for a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients and ensuring safe sale of medicines while building strong relationships with customers across our UK stores.

This role is based in-store and requires UK right to work and NVQ2/MPharm progress as per job requirements. There is an hourly rate of £13.92–£16.64 depending on location, with benefits including staff discounts and a flexible benefits

Qualifications

• Must have Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or be working towards) or have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work; sponsorship not offered.
• Experience in community/pharmacy settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and store healthcare professionals to deliver services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe, legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and promote adherence.
