Job summary

Boots UK in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in dispensing prescriptions and advising patients on medicines. The role is in-store and focuses on safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Work with other healthcare professionals in-store to assist in the delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in-store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines, promoting adherence and reducing waste.
