Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to support our pharmacy team in-store across the UK. You will dispense prescriptions, advise patients, and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure safe medicine delivery and high‑quality healthcare services.

The role requires NVQ2 in Pharmacy or progress toward an MPharm, and a valid UK right to work. In-store experience in community pharmacy is a plus. DBS checks apply where required.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines and processing prescriptions.
• Collaborate with the store's healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients in managing their prescriptions and promoting adherence.
