Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions, labeling medicines and delivering safe, patient-focused care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Based in-store across the UK, this role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or progression toward an MPharm, valid UK right to work, and a commitment to compliant SOPs. The hourly rate ranges from £13.92 to £16.64 depending on location.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines and patient care.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence, reducing waste.
