Job summary

Boots is hiring a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store across the UK. You will assist the pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and ensuring safe sale of medicines in line with SOPs.

You will build relationships with patients, support adherence, and help manage repeats in a busy retail setting. The role requires NVQ2 in Pharmacy Advisor (or first-year MPharm progress) and a valid UK right to work; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or currently studying with the first year of an MPharm).
• Current UK right to work; this role does not sponsor Skilled Worker visas.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store operations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients to manage their prescriptions and adhetic adherence.
