Job summary

Boots in the United Kingdom is seeking an in-store Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in dispensing prescriptions and advising patients on medicines. You will work within the store’s healthcare department, building relationships with patients and ensuring safe, compliant dispensing according to SOPs.

The role requires completion of the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or current pursuit of an MPharm year 1, and a valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Current and valid UK right to work. Not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or equivalent; or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions).
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
