Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide guidance on medicines to help patients make informed health choices.

This role is based in-store in the UK with UK right-to-work required; remote applications are not considered. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available for Skilled Worker visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines according to SOPs.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay updated with store innovations and operational processes.
• Support patients with repeats and medicine management to promote adherence.
