Job summary

Boots Group in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to support the pharmacist and healthcare team in-store. You will handle dispensing, patient consultations, and ensure safe medicine practices while working within SOPs and store systems.

The role focuses on patient care, accuracy, and collaboration with pharmacy colleagues. In-store development opportunities and UK-wide responsibilities are available.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and ensure safe supply of medicines.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store processes and new technologies to improve patient safety.
