Job summary

Boots Group in the UK is seeking a Dispenser in-store to support the pharmacist and healthcare team. You will dispense prescriptions, provide advice to patients, and help ensure safe, compliant delivery of medicines and healthcare services.

You will work within the store's healthcare department, build relationships with customers, follow SOPs, and stay up to date with new systems. The role offers training opportunities to advance to Pharmacy Technician or store leadership.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work.
• Experience in community pharmacy would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals in the store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries appropriately.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and improve adherence.
