Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to join our UK stores, supporting the pharmacist and health professionals in dispensing medicines and delivering high-quality patient care. You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients on medicines to promote safe and effective use.

The role is in-store in the UK; remote candidates are not considered. Ideal candidates will have NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor (or be working towards an MPharm first year) and a valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) or currently working towards and completed first year of MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. Not sponsorship eligible.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions with safe supply of medicines, label and endorse as required.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and store healthcare team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide medicines advice to patients and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and SOPs.
