Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the Pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, label medicines, and provide patient advice, helping deliver safe, compliant pharmacy services.

You should have Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or be pursuing an MPharm (Year 1 completed) and hold valid UK right to work. Community pharmacy experience is a plus; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence.
