Job summary

Boots UK in-store Dispenser role in the UK is focused on supporting the pharmacist and the pharmacy team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services. You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions and provide medicines advice, helping patients make informed health decisions.

The role emphasizes patient care within the store's healthcare department, with training and development opportunities including potential progression to Pharmacy Technician or leadership

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients in managing repeats and medicines to promote adherence.
