Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Dispenser to join our UK stores, supporting pharmacists and healthcare professionals to safely and efficiently deliver pharmacy services. You will dispense prescriptions, advise patients, and follow SOPs, with opportunities to train as a Pharmacy Technician or join the store leadership team.

This is a UK-based, in-store role. Remote applicants are not considered and sponsorship is not offered. Applicants must have UK right to work and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Work with other healthcare professionals in-store to assist in delivering pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in-store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
