Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services, including dispensing prescriptions and advising patients on medicines and health choices.

This UK-based role is in-store; remote applications are not considered and valid UK right to work is required. Boots offers training and progression into Pharmacy Technician or leadership paths.

Qualifications

• Complete the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or be progressing with the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their repeats and medicines to promote adherence.
