Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the expanding Pharmacy Digital Team. You will help develop, maintain, and govern clinical digital systems that oversee medicines management and patient care.

The role involves training staff, creating reports with SSRS, Excel and Power BI, and contributing to service improvement. Applicants should hold a BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, be eligible for GPhC registration, and

Qualifications

• Hold a BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent qualification.
• Be registered, or eligible to register, as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Extensive post-registration experience, including hospital pharmacy or equivalent setting.
• Strong understanding of medicines stock control.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance and safe use of pharmacy and clinical digital systems.
• Map, develop, create and share digital reports using SSRS, Excel and Power BI.
• Prepare and update training materials and assess/train pharmacy staff in using digital systems.
• Support and lead staff, including recruitment and development needs.
