Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist under supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service; recommends products and assists with locating items.
- Handles transactions, including refunds, exchanges, and voids; maintains cleanliness and merchandising of shelves.
- Performs pharmacy duties such as entering patient info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting pharmacists with workflow.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with pharmacy policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
- Handles telephone inquiries, processes third-party claims, and supports inventory management activities.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products; constructs displays and manages product placement.
- Provides photo services, web order fulfillment, and maintains store appearance and policies.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes ongoing training and education to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy fields.
Additional Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
