Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is hiring a Pharmacy Colleague in Sinfin to join our busy in-store pharmacy team. You will help customers with health questions, process prescriptions, and support pharmacists with patient services. Weekend shifts are required and training will be provided to progress to a Dispensing Assistant.

We offer flexible shifts, a 22-hour week, and a competitive pay rate of £13.10 per hour. You will be supported to complete an accredited course within 6 months to become a Medicine Counter

Qualifications

• Pass enhanced safeguarding check.
• Flexible shift patterns; weekend work required.
• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Support pharmacist with patient services and records.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and bring to store for collection.
• Promote and explain extra services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
