Job summary

Asda is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Colleague to join our Huyton store. This part-time, permanent position involves assisting in-store pharmacy duties, processing prescriptions and helping customers with health services.

You will work shifts including weekends, with a plan to complete training to become a Medicine Counter Assistant and progress toward Dispensing Assistant responsibilities. 15 hours per week at £13.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enhanced safeguarding check required for the role.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Confident discussing personal health issues with customers.
• Ability to assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Willingness to complete accredited courses to advance in pharmacy roles.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote and explain pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Assist Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors and bring to store for collection.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and maintain high service standards.
