Job summary

Asda is hiring a Pharmacy Colleague in Sinfin for part-time, 22 hours per week with afternoon shifts. You will support the Pharmacist, help assemble prescriptions, and promote pharmacy services while delivering friendly, patient-focused care in a busy store.

Flexible shift patterns are available with a requirement to work weekends. Training will be provided to progress from Medicine Counter Assistant to Dispensing Assistant over time.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face customer service in a fast-paced store environment.
• Ability to discuss personal health issues with empathy and clarity.
• Experience with basic computer systems and prescription processing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with delivery and record-keeping of patient services.
• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Promote additional pharmacy services (Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Support store colleagues and maintain SOPs in line with store guidelines.
