Job summary

Asda seeks a Pharmacy Colleague in Benton to support in-store pharmacies, handling prescription assembly and customer health queries. You will work as part of a team in a store operating 24/7, with weekend shifts required and a plan to train as a Medicines Counter Assistant within 6 months, progressing toward a Dispensing Assistant role.

The role is part-time 20.25 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.10 per hour, permanent contract and a clear path for training and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Pass enhanced safeguarding check.
• Weekend working is a requirement of the role.
• During training you will complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant and progress to a Dispensing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Raise awareness of Pharmacy services (Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Collect prescriptions from doctors and bring them to store ready for collection.
