Job summary

Paydens Group is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will assist pharmacists with dispensing, deliver outstanding customer service, and help maintain an efficient and compliant pharmacy environment in our UK locations.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a keen eye for detail. Training and support are provided to help you grow in a family-owned pharmacy group.

Qualifications

Foundation of pharmacy knowledge; NVQ2 preferred or equivalent experience.
Exceptional customer service skills with warmth, empathy and patience.
Keen eye for detail ensuring accuracy and safety of pharmacy operations.
Strong teamwork capabilities in a collaborative environment.
Computer literacy; comfortable with learning pharmacy software systems.
Outstanding communication; problem-solving and adaptability in a bustling environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in dispensing medications under supervision of a pharmacist with accuracy and compliance.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel heard and valued.
Maintain an organised and efficient workflow within the pharmacy team.
Manage inventory by stocking and organising pharmaceuticals and ensuring integrity.
Utilise computer systems for prescriptions processing and stock management.
Keep the pharmacy environment clean, tidy and orderly.
