Job summary
Paydens Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional customer service, assisting in dispensing under pharmacist supervision and maintaining accuracy. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent, strong communication, attention to detail, and be comfortable with pharmacy software; training is provided.
The role offers a weekend schedule (Friday 09:00-18:00, Saturday 09:00-14:00) with staff discounts
Qualifications
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with warmth, empathy and patience.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and safety in pharmacy operations.
- Good teamwork abilities and collaborative approach to tasks.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn pharmacy software systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to solve problems in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients.
- Maintain organised and efficient workflow within the pharmacy.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring product integrity.
