Job summary

Paydens Group is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will support dispensing under supervision, deliver outstanding customer service, and help maintain an efficient pharmacy operation.

We welcome applicants with NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent; we value teamwork, accuracy, and computer literacy for pharmacy software. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am–6:30pm with occasional weekend shifts; a generous staff discount and ongoing training are offered.

Your Mission as a Pharmacy Assistant

As a vital member of our team, you will:

• Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining meticulous accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
• Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
• Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow.
• Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
• Utilise computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries.
• Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.

• A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
