Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer (Pharmacy Dispenser) to support the dispensary, ward and community services across Haywood, St Georges and Redwoods. The role involves accurate dispensing under supervision, stock management and patient-facing service.

You will work with Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists, with a focus on professional customer care and efficient medicines supply. NHS experience is beneficial, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs including Maths and English.
• NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services.
• Computer literate with good numerical skills.
• Experience dealing with customers and the public.
• Experience as a pharmacy assistant; NHS experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispensary duties under supervision of a pharmacy professional.
• Manage stock, orders, receipts and stock checks.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and on the phone.
• Support with ward/department top-up stock and deliveries to wards.
• Attend mandatory training and participate in personal development.
