Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is seeking a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join the Pharmacy Team at Moseley Hall Hospital, Birmingham. The post entails daily pharmacy duties across wards, units and community clinics, including receiving stock, dispensing medications and supporting clinical staff.

Working under the supervision of the Head of Pharmacy within set SOPs, you will help ensure safe medicine supply, accurate record keeping and efficient

Qualifications

• RQF level 2 qualification is required.
• At least 4 GCSEs including maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Supply ward stock and pharmacy services following SOPs.
• Receive deliveries and check stock.
• Dispense medicines under supervision.
• Input prescription data into the pharmacy system.
• Provide patient advice on medicine supply.
• Maintain storage conditions and stock rotation.
