Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Birmingham. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, engage with customers, and train towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

The role offers hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy, with 30 hours/week across Monday to Friday. No prior pharmacy experience is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential; can be provided as part of the course.
• Maths/English Level 2 required or testing to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety, and confidentiality.

Brief Description

B38 9BL We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
