Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Birmingham invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations while training for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

No prior pharmacy experience is required; GCSEs preferred. You will learn prescription handling, stock control, customer service and health service delivery in a busy community pharmacy.

Job description

Working Week: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:30pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Brief Description

Birmingham, B14 4DU - We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
