Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a friendly and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in Tamworth. You will gain hands‑on experience while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with blended learning delivered alongside your job.

Key duties include assisting customers, handling prescriptions under supervision, managing stock and using pharmacy systems, while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (or 4-9) in Maths and English desired, as part of the course.
• Full training provided; no prior pharmacy experience required.
• Interest in healthcare and helping customers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Working Week: hours between 9-6, (9-1 alternate Saturdays) 32 when not working a Saturday

B77 5BB We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
