Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join the Burnham-on-Sea team in the UK. You will support daily pharmacy operations, help customers at the counter, and work with the team to ensure safe, efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship (about 15 months) with full training and support, while earning £10 per hour. No prior pharmacy experience is required; training provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided via the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.

Brief Description

Qualifications Required

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
