Job summary

skills4group is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in London. You will support the day-to-day running, assist customers at the medicines counter, and work towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

This role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare environment, with blended learning over typically 15 months and the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning a wage.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• Maths and English Level 2 (initial tests may be required if not held).
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship will be provided with training.

This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
