Job summary

Skills4Group is recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Manchester. You will support the pharmacy team, assist customers at the counter, and learn through a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Training is provided and a fast-paced environment awaits, with scope to deliver public health services and gain a recognised qualification. Start date is soon after application, with working hours Mon-Fri 9am-6pm and shadowing experienced pharmacists to ensure safe and efficient

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired, but not essential as training can be provided.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is missing, initial tests will determine suitability for the course.

Brief Description

M23 0BX We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
