Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Swindon is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. Key duties include assisting customers at the medicines counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided.
• Interest in healthcare and working with people.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.

Brief Description

SN4 9ED We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role
