Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Sheffield to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, engage with customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

The role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, with 15 months of blended learning, and you will gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning a wage.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired, but not essential.
• Maths/English Level 2 may be provided via the course and tests may be required to determine suitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality in the pharmacy.

Working Week: 3 days Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday 8am-6pm with a 1 hour lunch

Brief Description

S12 2LG We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role
