Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in Wirral. You will support daily pharmacy tasks, assist customers at the counter, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and blended learning. Working hours are Mon-Fri 8:30-6:30 (may include Saturday mornings) in CH63 2LR.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent in Maths and English desired
• If Maths and English Level 2 are not present, tests determine suitability for the course
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship with Functional Skills if required

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales

Brief Description

CH63 2LR We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hand-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
