Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Gloucester. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, help customers, and learn on the job while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will receive full training, complete initial Maths and English tests if required, and gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning as part of a busy community pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential; can be provided as part of the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Applicants may need to complete Maths/English tests to determine suitability for the course.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship will be completed alongside duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.

Working Week: Monday- Friday between 9am and 5.30pm

Brief Description

GL1 5HE. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role
