Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Birmingham is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role. You will support the daily running of the pharmacy, assist customers at the medicines counter, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, handling stock, processing prescriptions under supervision, and delivering high-quality customer service as part of a busy team.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (4-9) desired but not essential.
• For Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent, training is provided.
• Interest in healthcare and helping people.

Brief Description

Birmingham, B14 4DU - We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
