Surrey Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist customers, and work closely with the team to ensure safe, efficient service while training for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential; can be provided via the course.
• Applicants without Maths/English Level 2 will do initial maths/english tests to determine suitability for the course.

Brief Description

KT10 9QS. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Apprentices must be able to commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours
