Job summary

JustApply Ltd is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This role offers hands-on learning while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship and earning as you train.

You will support the day-to-day running, assist customers at the medicines counter, help prepare prescriptions, handle stock, and use pharmacy systems under supervision. Training is provided alongside your role.

Working Week: 42.5hours per week (Monday-Friday 0830-1800 60 mins unpaid lunchbreak) plus every other Saturday morning 0900-1200 (these 3 hours would be given back in the week). 15-month fixed term contract

Brief Description

PL1 3BW We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A‑C or 4‑9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
