Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSEs (A-C/4-9) in Maths and English desired, training can be provided.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training given.
• Apprenticeship: Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 with GCSEs.
• Duration typically around 15 months, blended learning.
• Commitment to contracted hours and guided learning hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and answer queries.
• Support with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and keep records accurate.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
