Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Scunthorpe to support daily pharmacy operations and customer service. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, efficient service while training for the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

The role involves assisting with prescriptions, stock management, and customer queries. Full training is provided; no prior pharmacy experience is required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired or equivalent.
• Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent may be provided through the course.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and answer queries.
• Help with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health, safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
