Job summary

skills4group is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team at Kirton Lindsey (and Scotter). You will learn on the job while providing prescription counter services and helping customers, with full training and support.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, gaining a nationally recognised qualification and valuable hands-on experience in healthcare.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English (desirable).
• Genuine interest in healthcare and helping people.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
