Job summary

Skills4Group in Nottingham is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. Earn while you learn and gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, help customers and work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• Willingness to learn and undertake initial Maths/English tests if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
