Job summary

Skills4Group in Cheltenham is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations and customer service. You will work with the team to ensure safe and efficient service while training towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. No prior pharmacy experience is required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 (Maths & English) or equivalent.
• Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent; tests may be required.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2 will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health, safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
