Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in Devon is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role to support day-to-day pharmacy operations, help customers and work with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, efficient service while training for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities include assisting with medicine counter customer queries, preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision, managing stock and using pharmacy systems, all while maintaining cleanliness, health and safety

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (9-4) in Maths and English are desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided.
• Apprentices will study for the Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 alongside the role.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
