Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Essex is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship to support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy and assist customers while training toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship over about 15 months.

No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided. You will gain hands‑on experience in a busy community pharmacy with blended training and guided learning hours.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to learn and work in healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
