Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in Kent. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience and working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

No prior pharmacy experience is required, and you will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with duties including helping customers, assisting with prescriptions under supervision, stock

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
Strong interest in healthcare and helping people.
Willingness to learn and undertake the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Assisting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
Assisting with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining records.
Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health, safety and confidentiality.
